Beautiful, special weddings with eye for detail make me so happy! Have you already heard of the Water Color Wedding theme? Soft aquarelle pastel shades are the basis for the design. Fresh, romantic, artistic, colorful, subtle, soft...beautiful!
A Water Color Wedding or Aquarelle Wedding doesn't have to be over the top, but is perfect for subtlety and DIY! There is something artistic about it and if you make it yourself it doesn't have to be perfect.
Glassware & Flowers
Something very beautiful is colored glass or subtle colored water with soft pastel colored flowers. DIY: Collect glass jars (vegetable jars are also a very good option) and use glass paint to paint them in a variety of beautiful pastel shades!

Wedding cake
The wedding cake or dessert table can often be such a beautiful eye-catcher! Very often one forgets to include the wedding cake in the styling. When it comes to a dessert table you have to think about styling, since you don't want it to be a mishmash ;-).

Print work
Specially designed print work is so cool! Especially when it comes to this theme of watercolor. Table numbers, name cards, invitations, save the date, menu cards, wedding signs, and so on. Love love love it! Budget not sufficient: make them yourself or download them for free via Wedding Chicks or many other wedding blogs (just google: free template watercolor weddings).
