The 9 newest wedding trends of 2019

24 January 2019

Not because you have to, but because it is possible ;-). Nine of the latest wedding trends for 2019. Have you noticed that many trends have been influenced by Prince Harry's Royal wedding with his Meghan in 2018.
Most important is to stay close to yourself and choose what suits you!

  1. Trend colour: The trend colour of 2019 announced by Pantone is 'Living Coral'. Not super innovative, but a very nice and cheerful color. I love it

  2. Wedding Dresses: There are many more trends, but for me the most striking:

    • They become increasingly minimalistic
    • And long sleeves are the hit of 2019!
  3. Ceremony: For the wedding ceremony couples can pull everything out of their bag. Wedding vows and independent wedding officials are the new standard. And in terms of music, it will be more over the top, such as a live gospel choir or an "All you need is love" flashmob like Love Actually.
  4. Neon love: The wooden light letters have been transformed into neon letters & quotes! Also very cool!

  5. Gold: This color is still the trend, but then really into the details. From cutlery, candlesticks to gold foil press on your wedding cards!
  6. Wild bouquets: The flowers may be wilder and more special! For example, I absolutely love the protea .. such a cool flower! But also pampas grasses (those full plumes like the photo on top) you see more and more in the coming year.

  7. Natural look: The more natural the look the better. Did you know that with airbrush make-up this effect is even better? But with a popping red lipstick and nail polish in the same color! Very sexy ;-)
  8. Grooms attire: The groom can no longer get away in a normal classic blue suit, but it can have much more colour. Also because the groom has to stand out in his wedding suit between all blue suits of his male guests. Although you also have very special shades of blue. Be advised by a tailor-made expert. You also see three-piece suit more and more. Classy & stylish!
  9. Balloons combined with flowers: Normally I am not such a balloon bow girl, but if you can create a wow effect like above: definitely do!
