Bridesmaids traditionally had the task of distracting evil spirits, who had always focused on the bride at the wedding. By walking behind the bride and carrying her veil, the evil spirits did not know who the bride was and therefore pulled off again.

Nowadays, the tasks of bridesmaids are in the organization and support (actually they are a kind of wedding planner ... just like me :)).

On the day they make themselves useful by helping the bride dress up, help with curbing the nerves of the bride and groom, carrying the veil, taking care of the wedding bouquet during the ceremony, receiving presents, managing the guestbook and assisting the master of ceremonies.

The trend: Ask your friends as bridesmaids! And let them all put on a dress of the same fabric, but then slightly different.
