It is customary in the Netherlands to be sprinkled with rice after the I dos. This would provide a happy future with many children for the bride and groom.
Nowadays, the bridal couples are not only sprinkled with something to make it extra festive, but also when leaving the party.
Unfortunately, in many locations it is no longer allowed to throw rice or flowers, which is why I also looked for some alternatives.
In addition to dried flowers or confetti, you can also use dried leaves at a wedding in autumn.
I am pleasantly surprised by the fact that the well-known traditions such as pigeons release can still be applied in a fun and vintage way.
