We have been married for more than 1 month so it was time for a blog about the most beautiful days of our lives. All stress from the weeks before fell off me on the morning of May 11th 2012. I had arranged everything I could arrange and left our days in the hands of our masters of ceremonie.
The first day we woke up early, my friend arrived at 9 o'clock to do my make-up and hair and at half past twelve I was allowed to wear my dress. Not just a dress, I had chosen to wear my mother's wedding dress for our civil wedding. A garland of gypsophila and roses and my gypsum bouquet made my vintage outfit complete.
Actually, I was not so nervous for this day. It felt especially crazy. At a quarter to one we drove to the town hall of Waalwijk where we were warmly welcomed by the civil registry, our friends and family. The ceremony in the town hall flew by. When we went out, our master of ceremonies had given us a very sweet surprise by releasing balloons with a card. The finder of the balloon and card was asked to put it on the mail so that it would arrive back to us. After the civil wedding, I kept saying "Now we are married, how crazy is that!", We went to the house of my parents where we had a delicious lunch with all our friends.
Around half past 4 our friends left for the location where we would dine, which was a surprise for them. Not much later, after I went upstairs for a change of clothing, we left to be welcomed in a beautiful, idyllic vineyard called Domaine Heerstaayen by our dear friends, families, Heerlijk & Hecht and Melissa our photographer. After having toasted, cutting up the beautiful wedding cake, having a bit of bubbling and enjoying all the beauty, we left for the photo shoot.
Our friends stayed behind and enjoyed the delicious snacks and drinks. Around 7 o'clock we went to the beautiful styled dinner tables in the orangery of the vineyard. What did it all look breathtaking and fantastic and what was the food delicious. In between courses our parents and friends surprised us with beautiful sweet speeches and videos. The tears flowed richly like the wine. What have we enjoyed, what was the food delicious, what was it relaxed, what a great atmosphere, what was it beautiful. I can't stop talking about it ... and this was just the beginning of two unforgettable, fantastic, beautiful and special days.
