Looking for some inspiration to open your party? Find some fun tips here!

1. Opening dance
The classic. About 60% of the couples choose for an opening dance. You can dance a Viennese waltz, but how about a swinging salsa or a hot tango?

2. Flashmob
You set your guests on the wrong path when you start with a quiet song as opening dance. However, suddenly the song changes in a swinging song en you as a couple dance some learned moves. More and more friends (that have practiced with you) join you one by one. This is so much fun and the other guests will be so surprised!

3. Dance battle
How cool is it if you can create an opening à la 'the ultimate dance battle'. Ask some friends that can dance well (of hire professionals) and let them battle against eachother.

4. Lovestory
Record your love story on video by going back to your favorite spots and interviewing eachother. What do you like so much about the other one, how was your first date, what do you dislike about eachother, how was the first encounter with the in-laws, etc. Record the interview seperately and let the other one sit in the back (film him or her also, so that you can see the reactions). Show this video during the opening en if you edit a 'run scene' in it, you can jump through the curtain!

5. Wedding clip
Some videographers in Holland offer the same day edit. This way your evening guests can also experience your wonderful day.

6. Write your own song and sing this to eachother.

Extra Tip: Plan the opening of the party after possible contributions and after you received the good wishes from everyone. This way you can really start partying together with all your guests!
