The traditional dream wedding has turned into a modern fairy tale. MSM noted the latest marriages during the WITWedding Catwalk at the Trouwfabriek.<\/p>\n

Whoever approaches the altar next year, is still allowed to do this in white, eight couturiers determined on the runway in Trouw Amsterdam. A trip to contrast makes a white dress more exciting: blue ribbons, pink pumps and a black men’s hat. Furthermore, a gown does not have to be concealing anymore: straight mini dresses and short white tulle layers are the new purple in the wedding country. ‘The dresses will be shorter’, confirms Lisette Wevers of ‘WIT Wedding magazine’ as the trend. Wevers is with her anti traditional magazine the personalization of modern marriage. What else besides short dresses can be seen in sets that leave ‘Father of the Bride’ behind them? ‘Marrying outside is very popular, beach pavilions get more and more requests. We also see more and more weddings as a kind of mini-Parade: around a terrace there are all kinds of corners and places where you can eat and drink. And nowadays there is the exuberantly decorated cupcake as a substitute for the traditional wedding cake’, Wevers knows. Anyone who wants to cut a cake, chooses a fairy tail cake with crooked layers and hearts on the side. With the right drink, because a bottle of supermarket champagne really does not work anymore, according to wedding planner Vivian ter Huurne. ‘It is important that pie and drink fit well together. That is why we see more and more red bubbles instead of champagne. “For those who still like these trends and so-so, it can be more modern: ter Huurne is organizing the first Twitter wedding soon.<\/p>\n
